“With one goat you can change the future of not just
one child, but their whole family and the community
around them.”

Ghetto
Goat Farm

“How can we help?”, we asked. “Goats”, he said. This was how it started.

During filming for the 2023 Toy Green documentary ‘Ghetto Kids’, we asked the founder, Kavuma Dauda, what could we do to make a difference to him, the children and the foundation. “Goats”, he said, “I want to build a goat farm”.

“If I can give every child one goat then they can learn about business and farming, they can breed them and generate revenue for their loved ones, and never go back to the streets again.”

All 30 children in the home received a goat, each with their name on their goat’s
ear-tag. From the goats they can sell products, they can breed them to increase the herd and sell goats for meat. They can create a long-term sustainable source of revenue that will support both the children and their loved ones.

You can support the expansion of this project by adding goats to the herd, each of which can be named whatever you like – after your family, friends and loved ones.

Once the herd is complete, the project will continue to support the Ghetto Farm with cows, chickens, building materials and equipment.
